Dear Friends
A warm welcome to the Southampton CELEBRATE 2008 Weekend Website.   The date and the venue are now confirmed, as are quite a number of our speakers, worship leaders and workshop teams too.  We anticipate a big response, and with limited spaces, we would recommend early booking - click here for more on how to book, or if you already know, but just want to download another booking form, then click here.
We're still looking for lots of help, so if you'd like to be involved, maybe give something back, particularly if you feel you have a calling, feel free to volunteer by e-mailing we'll get back to you. So, scroll down for more..... plus watch this space for more updates.

Message from Bishop Crispian Hollis
"Since 1994 the annual Celebrate Family Conference has been a great encouragement to adults, young people, and children of all ages, with its emphasis on good, practical Christian teaching, celebration, service and fun.  I am delighted to welcome the new Celebrate Weekend to Southampton which will make the Celebrate experience available to many more people in their local parishes and pray that all involved have an enjoyable and fruitful weekend.  I am only sorry that other engagements prevent me from being with you."

  "Life in the Spirit"
As a result of the Celebrate Weekend coming to
Southampton it has been decided to hold a series of  "Life in the Spirit"
seminars at St Joseph's House of Prayer, Ashurst, Southampton. These will
be at 7.30pm on Thursdays beginning on May 8th. Those interested can
book in at the conference or directly with St. Joseph's on 02380292337

The Celebrate Prayer  “Renew Your wonders in this our day as by a New Pentecost”  Pope John XXIII

Father, we know that all life, all holiness comes from You through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, by the working of the Holy Spirit. Please help us at Celebrate to be ready to receive all that You want to teach and give us.

Lord Jesus, You are the Word made flesh who lived among us so that we might know how much our Father loves us. Help us to enter into a closer personal relationship with You, and to share that love with all those who do not know You.

Holy Spirit, You who can do far more than we can ever ask or imagine, please come to each of us in power during Celebrate. Help us to receive all that You want to give us, and to open our hearts and minds to Your presence in our lives in a new way.
Amen

Children and Young Adults
We're always delighted by the number of children and young people at CELEBRATE.  In 2007, under 25s accounted for over 40% of all Celebrators. 2008 should be no different, and so we've put together a varied and active programme ... see below for YOUR group!!
