Celebrate 2008 Weekends
WOULD YOU LIKE TO RELIVE
THEM ?
We've added these pages to the website
so that you can remember and enjoy the 2008 Events which are now over.
You can relive the weekends in three different
ways - by ordering CDs of the
Talks, by looking
at Photos and (coming soon) videos, or
simply by Sharing Prayers
- and if you have pictures or prayers to
share, please e-mail them to us at webmaster@celebrateconference.org,
and we'll do out best to post them here.

2008
Recordings/CDs
We've tried to record as many of the
talks as we possible - in many cases making them available for your purchase
at the end of each of the events. In the event that you weren't able to purchase
at the time, or you weren't at a particular event, you can order CDs directly
Agape Ministries - click here for their website and contact details
Sample a 2008 Recording
As a taster, click here
to listen to a four minute excerpt from Margaret Duncan's talk at the Heart of England
2008 Weekend in Princethorpe. Aberdeen-based
Margaret’s shared her story of
a life transformed by an unexpected experience of
God over twenty years ago. Mother of five, with five grandchildren,
Margaret’s dynamic ministry takes her as far afield as USA, India, Papua
New Guinea and Poland, helping people really believe God loves them—‘warts
and all’!—encouraging them into a relationship with God, not just ‘doing
religious stuff’.
Previous Celebrate recordings
Just for completeness, we're also including some samples of talks given at
previous Celebrate Conferences - these too are available from Agape Ministries
Jenny Baker,
Surprises of the Spirit
This talk was given by Jenny on the Monday evening, and she talks about
CELEBRATE, including giving us an entertaining "C
is for.. and E is for ..." overview!

Bishop
Joe Grech
Growing in the Spirit
This talk was given by Bishop Joe, and he tells about how the Greeks demanded
wisdom, the Jews demanded miracles, and yet St. Paul was preaching about the crucified, not resurrected Christ.

David
Wells
Home is a Holy Place -
A hidden truth for families
David talks about "keeping a secret", in his usual highly
entertaining, yet challenging way.

John
Wright
Walking as Jesus Walked.
John talks to us about talking to others - cab drivers, peopel we meet in
the street, people who call us on the telephone. Meeting John has been described by Bishop
Jones of Norwich as "a risky adventure!", So enjoy!!

Prayer Wall
Father, we know that
all life, all holiness comes from You through Your Son, Jesus Christ our
Lord, by the working of the Holy Spirit. Please help us at Celebrate to be
ready to receive all that You want to teach and give us.
Lord Jesus, You are the Word made flesh who lived among us so that we might
know how much our Father loves us. Help us to enter into a closer personal
relationship with You, and to share that love with all those who do not know
You.
Holy Spirit, You who can do far more than we can ever ask or imagine, please
come to each of us in power during Celebrate. Help us to receive all that
You want to give us, and to open our hearts and minds to Your presence in
our lives in a new way.
Amen
