“Be strong and courageous! For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9 NLT)
CELEBRATE is a Catholic Charismatic conference for all, young and old, open to individuals and families alike. We hope that the weekend will help you find fresh inspiration and renewal in your faith in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Thanks to all those who attended last year's conference; you can see photos from the weekend below.
Please do encourage someone who has not experienced a Celebrate weekend to come along.
David is an extraordinary communicator and a great friend of Celebrate. He is known for his ability to present deep truths of faith in a very human context. A leader of adult catechesis in Plymouth Diocese for 16 years, his current role is to assist schools in their contribution to the New Evangelisation. David is also the author of two books, The Reluctant Disciple and The Grateful Disciple.
Damian is the founder of the Catholic community Cor et Lumen Christi (The Heart and Light of Christ), which seeks to marry a deep life of prayer and worship and a ministry of the word with healing, signs and wonders. The community is formally recognized by the Vatican. Damian has ministered in 25 countries, equipping believers of every background for supernatural ministry and seeing thousands healed at his services. God has graciously used Damian to bring many into the ongoing experience of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, prophetic revelation and deliverance. He believes that the Lord desires the new season in the miraculous that the church is now entering to be characterized by humility, purity, intimacy, unity and the manifestation of God’s glory. Damian is married to Cathy and they have two children John and Miryam
Nick is Associate Pastor at Gas Street Church and ordained in the Church of England. Having recently completed his PhD he writes and teaches on the theology of charismatic worship. He is married to Becky and together they also write songs for all ages in worship (worshipforeveryone.com). They have 4 children under 10 and drink a lot of coffee!
