The Southampton team would like to welcome you to our eleventh Southampton Celebrate Weekend.

The theme this year is  "See, I am doing a new thing!" , taken from Isaiah 43: 19 (NIV) and in line with the theme, we also are doing something new. This year, all our speakers are couples!

CELEBRATE is a conference for all, young and old, open to individuals and families alike.
We hope that the weekend will help you find fresh inspiration and renewal in your faith in a relaxed and friendly environment. The weekend will include:

  • Inspired Teaching from great speakers, and Spirit-led Praise & Worship

  • Creative liturgy and Celebration of the Holy Mass

  • Wealth of insightful seminars and workshops

  • Time and space to encounter Christ’s healing touch in Reconciliation and Prayer Ministry

  • Excellent Children’s & Youth Ministry are led by experienced leaders, who will help develop the children’s relationship with the Lord through fun faith-based activities

Gina & Geoff Poulter

Gina and Geoff have been active in the Church for over forty years including 22 in full time ministry. Thirteen of those were taken up with their directorship and running of the successful Catholic Bible School. Their heart is to see people drawn closer to Jesus and be released into the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to become active Disciples. They can frequently be found in Denmark and Slovakia running conferences, seminars and leading healing services.


Gio Payne

Giovanna Payne is an inspiring conference speaker and head of RS/Philosophy at a local Christian school. She has a deep love of Scripture that has helped to transform her life in very practical ways. She is married to David and they have 3 full-on teenagers living in St Albans.


David Payne

David Payne is the Director of CaFE (Catholic Faith Exploration) who make filmed courses for parishes and individuals. Since a powerful conversion in his twenties, he has devoted his life to helping others experience the joy of the Holy Spirit in their everyday lives. David is the author of several popular books and presents many of the CaFE films.

Matt & Lucy Gwyn

Matt & Lucy got married in 2006, have two young children named Charlie & Maggie, and live in sunny Southampton, where Matt is a Schools Worker for Southampton City Mission, and Lucy heads up the Children's Ministry at Life Church West End, which together they help to lead. They are both passionate about prayer & worship, and seeing people dig deeper into their relationship with God.



Steve Murray

Steve Murray is a professional and established mime artist with an international ministry. He uses the art of mime to portray the Gospel message in a refreshing and non-threatening way. For more details about Steve and his ministry, as well as a promotional video check out Behold Ministries.

  • £10 - Children (3 - 15 yrs old)*
  • Free - Creche (under 3 yrs old)*

* All children attending groups must have a designated adult present at the main conference.

Payment instructions can be found on the form. Since space is limited, bookings will be accepted on a first come first served basis and it is essential that you book in at least three weeks before the start of the weekend. It is very important that we know the number and age of children and young adults attending so that adequate adult resources are available to support the groups.
